Alumni Soldiers without Families in Israel

World Bnei Akiva Achievements

50,000 members worldwide participating in daily and weekly activities.

Over 350 branches in 35 countries.

300 shlichim (educational emissaries) - singles, couples, and families working in communities around the globe.

Over 350 participants in Israel one-year programs.

Over 1,500 on short-term programs and summer camps in Israel.

Hundreds of leaders working in Diaspora communities.

Thousands of alumni and their families now living in Israel, many of whom are in senior positions in education, the military, government, business, etc.

50 members volunteer every year for combat service in the Israel Defense Forces.

World Bnei Akiva encourages its graduates to join the IDF.

Following a year program in Israel, approximately 50 BA members enlist in the army for 14 months of military service (“Machal”) every year. Bnei Akiva helps them prepare, enlist, acclimatize, and is there for them at all stages of their army service.

The new World Center will be home for these soldiers and others, offering them a room, hot meals, showers, a place to wind down and relax, and a feeling of warmth and belonging to the global Bnei Akiva family.

Role Models

Having Olim and soldiers on site will be enormously valuable for the Israel program participants. They can meet these ‘role models’ and dream of being in the same situation themselves in a few years time.
